The 2004 Show
Our Sixth Championship Show was held on

North Star Avenue, Swindon
Here's how Marc Henrie described the show:
Those super ladies, Jackie Pell and Elaine Robinson were joint show managers of this increasingly popular event. As usual, they were in great spirits, which makes for a happy and well-run show. John Robinson persuaded companies to provide toys and plentiful sample food packets for every exhibit.

The show hall is very convenient to reach by train or car - the station is just ten minutes away - Swindon is well served by rail and the M4 and M5. When I arrived, many exhibitors were enjoying the sunshine by having a picnic lunch on the lawns surrounding the building. The centre's cafe and bar are excellent with a special show breakfast available and food at modest price.
There was a superb entry of over 500 cats, the hall's limit. Despite very warm weather, the felines were in lively good spirits with lots of purrs and head butts for the stewards. The Mayor and Mayoress of Swindon - Cllrs Peter Stoddart and Judith Woodman attended. The Mayor judged Buster the Non-Pedigree Overall Winner before going on to present awards.
