The 2003 Show
Our Fifth Championship Show
was held on
Saturday 5th July 2003, at
The OASIS LEISURE CENTRE,
North Star Avenue, Swindon
Despite the extreme heat Wiltshire & District Cat Club "kept its cool" for its 5th Championship Show.
Show Managers Jackie Pell and Elaine Robinson were backed by their hard-working Committee. Jackie and Elaine were constantly walking round the hall seeing that all was well on this extremely hot day. And members of the Committee ensured that Judges and Stewards were well supplied with refreshing drinks in the heat. The hall is very spacious and provided ample room for the Judges, Stewards, Visitors and Exhibitors to move around with ease. There was a wonderful selection of cats showing, all appearing to be in wonderful condition. And I am sure that the winning exhibitors appreciated the superb rosettes provided by Richardsons Designs. The Best Overall Non Pedigree section was judged by the Mayor of Swindon, Derek Benthill, a great cat-lover
