Birman head

Birmans are also known as the Sacred Cats of Burma. They are a semi-long hair cat with colouring similar to the Siamese cat, but they have unique white feet and gauntlets. They are very affectionate and make super pets. The breed originates from Burma where they are known as 'temple cats'. To appreciate the fullness of the legend please visit the Birman Cat Club site. Birmans were introduced into Britain in 1965 and have gone from strength to strength, becoming the fifth most popular type of pedigree cat. In addition to the original colours of seal and blue, Birmans are now bred in chocolate, lilac, red and cream and tabby variations. I specialise in seal, blue, seal-tabby and blue-tabby points.
